Official Platform Rules

ytoutbid.lol operates on transparent, automated rules. Every listing, bid, rank adjustment, and tie-breaker is governed strictly by the criteria below.

1. Canonical Identity: One Channel, One Listing

Every YouTube channel on ytoutbid.lol is identified by its official, immutable YouTube Channel ID (a 24-character identifier starting with UC...).

  • No Duplicate Listings: Each canonical YouTube Channel ID can have exactly one listing on the leaderboard.
  • Resubmission Safety: If an already-listed channel is submitted again using a different URL format, custom URL, or @handle, ytoutbid.lol resolves the canonical Channel ID and directs the contribution to the existing listing. A second row is never created.
  • Public Channels Only: Listings must reference active, publicly accessible YouTube channels.

2. Cumulative Total Ranking

Leaderboard rankings are determined strictly by each channel's cumulative outbid total in USD. The higher the total pool, the higher the channel ranks on the public leaderboard.

  • Minimum Initial Listing Bid: Creating a new channel listing requires a minimum starting contribution of $2.00 USD (200 cents).
  • Minimum Support Contribution: Supporting an existing channel requires a minimum contribution of $2.00 USD (200 cents).
  • Immediate Activation: All rank positions are recalculated and updated in real time as soon as a payment is confirmed.

3. Claiming the #1 Position (Rule 1)

To claim the prestigious #1 Rank on ytoutbid.lol, a channel's resulting cumulative total must be at least $2.00 USD higher than the current #1 channel's total.

Example Scenario:

If the current #1 channel has a total of $100.00:

  • A bid resulting in $102.00 or more successfully claims Rank #1.
  • A bid resulting in $100.00 or $101.00 is rejected for #1, as it does not meet the mandatory $2.00 overtaking margin.

If a channel is already in the #1 position, additional contributions of $2.00 or more can be made at any time to further increase its lead.

4. Non-#1 Placements & Prospective Rank

You do not need to outbid the #1 channel to participate. Any valid contribution places the channel at the highest corresponding position supported by its total.

Prospective Rank Display: Before completing checkout, the payment confirmation screen calculates and displays the exact prospective rank the channel will occupy based on the live leaderboard state and your proposed contribution.

5. Tie-Breaking Rule (First-Come, First-Served)

If two channels accumulate the exact same total dollar amount, the tie is resolved chronologically:

ORDER BY current_outbid_cents DESC, reached_total_at ASC, created_at ASC

The channel that reached the matching total earlier in time retains the higher rank. A newly submitted bid that ties an existing total is placed immediately behind the channel that was already at that amount.

6. Supporting Existing Channels

Anyone—including creators, fans, community members, and viewers—can support an already-listed channel.

  • Cumulative Stacking: All support contributions are permanently added to the channel's cumulative outbid total.
  • Supporter Recognition: Supporters may optionally submit a display name and message to appear in the channel's public supporter feed.
  • Anonymous Support: Contributors can select "Support Anonymously" to omit public personal identifiers.

7. Payments & Finality

All transactions are processed securely via our merchant payment gateway (Dodo Payments). ytoutbid.lol does not store credit card or sensitive payment credentials.

Non-Refundable Policy: Because rank positioning, supporter records, and leaderboard adjustments occur immediately upon payment confirmation, all completed transactions are final and non-refundable.

8. Content Moderation & Abuse Prevention

To protect creators and maintain leaderboard integrity, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Submitting non-existent, terminated, or invalid YouTube channels.
  • Submitting abusive, defamatory, hateful, or unlawful supporter messages.
  • Attempting to manipulate click counts or leaderboard totals using automated bots, scripts, or fraudulent payment methods.

Every channel page includes a direct reporting tool for creators or authorized representatives to request review of inaccurate listings or abusive content.

9. YouTube Independence & Scope

ytoutbid.lol is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by YouTube, Google LLC, or Alphabet Inc.

Rankings on ytoutbid.lol reflect visibility on this platform only. They do not alter YouTube's search algorithms, recommendation feeds, monetization, subscriber counts, or view metrics.
