ytoutbid.lol ("we", "our", "us") is committed to transparency and minimal data collection.

Our platform operates with no mandatory user accounts. We do not collect passwords, social security numbers, private emails, or intrusive personal tracking profiles.

• Public YouTube Channel Metadata: When a channel is submitted, we retrieve publicly available information (channel title, handle, avatar URL, subscriber count, video count, description) via the YouTube Data API to display on the leaderboard.
• Supporter Contributions: When you place a bid or support a channel, you may optionally provide a public display name and supporter message. If you select "Support Anonymously", no name is stored or displayed with the contribution.
• Outbound Click Deduplication Token: When you click a channel link to visit YouTube, an anonymous, randomly generated visitor identifier is stored in a cookie/header to deduplicate outbound clicks within a 1-hour window. This identifier contains no personal details.
• Technical Server Logs: Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) for security monitoring, rate limiting, and DDoS prevention.

• No Financial or Card Details: We never collect, process, or store credit card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or bank account credentials. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Dodo Payments.
• No Google or YouTube Account Credentials: We never request Google passwords, YouTube Studio permissions, or OAuth account access.
• No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not sell user data to advertising networks or use cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.

We integrate only with reputable infrastructure providers necessary to operate ytoutbid.lol:

• YouTube / Google LLC: Public metadata lookup. Subject to Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
• Dodo Payments: Merchant of record and checkout processor for secure credit/debit card transactions.
• Supabase Inc.: Secure hosted PostgreSQL database infrastructure for storing public listings, bids, and deduplicated click counts.
• Vercel Inc.: Hosting platform and edge network serving the web application.

ytoutbid.lol uses minimal local storage and cookies strictly for essential platform functionality:

• ytoutbid_theme: Saves your light/dark mode preference.
• ytoutbid_visitor_id: An anonymous token used solely to prevent duplicate click counting on channel links within a 1-hour window.
